Project management support for KOC

The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) is seeking to increase its national oil production by 100 per cent by the year 2020. This means improving the efficiency of existing oil production and bringing new fields on-stream. At the same time, KOC is modernising its business processes in line with international standards.

This contract is essential to support KOC’s comprehensive ongoing programme of major projects and is considered critical to the day-to-day business and future development of the Company’s facilities. "

AMEC has a long–term project management contract with KOC and provides consultancy services across a series of projects, from concept through to construction management and execution.

We have worked in the Middle East for 25 years, providing project management and engineering services. We have built a strong relationship with our customer progressing from basic project management to taking on greater levels of responsibility within their company.

We are also working on a change programme to support KOC in its transition, sharing our commercial skills and working with our customer to modernise their contracts. Our managed projects have now exceeded over 60 million person-hours without a lost time incident.
