What do you enjoy most about working for AMEC?

AMEC has diversified integrated culture and it cares about the people, environment and safety while dealing any project, in any part of the world. AMEC virtues are for future Earth and better planet.

What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on / or, what personal work achievement are you most proud of?

Working at AMEC has provided me ample opportunities to work on various small and large scale engineering projects. I had been involved on a major Coal-to-Liquid (CTL) plants design right from the initiation of my career. I have excelled my skills of process simulation for various coal gasification technologies (Shell and Seimens), Acid Gas Removal (Rectisol, Linde) and Fischer Tropsch technology (Syntroleum). This project of CTL is seen to have potential for USA not to rely on imported crude and solve energy crisis. Other upstream projects such as Chevron-Kuwait, Turkish Petroleum, Elmerk-Angola and Exxon-Angola, experienced me with various stages of designing PFDs and P&IDs, detail designing and project execution and management.

How would you describe the training you’ve received? How has it benefited you? In what other ways have you learned and developed as a professional?

AMEC offers the best training to keep update with the all innovative technology and process for day to day professional activities. I have gone through numerous training for facilities and process engineering within the company. The course curriculum develop is very effective in understanding the insights of the engineering fundamentals and various thump rules for designs. This also helps to interact with the seniors and other graduate engineers on the same level of platform. Today, after undergone training and learn through experience I feel the air of confidence in profession and work. I have developed the capability of sustaining myself in the business of project engineering and management.

What would you say is the single most important factor in building a successful career at AMEC?

For me, the path of a successful career at AMEC is by having full faith in the Vision and Values of AMEC. The Values of AMEC are lucid and absolute. One who follows the values of AMEC, who preaches teamwork, diversity, integrity, safety, sustainability and passion, is never deem to be a failure.
