AMEC ranked as Top International Design Firm in Canada

03 August 2012

London, UK (03 August 2012) – AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, is pleased to announce that it has been ranked as the Top International Design Firm in Canada by the prestigious Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine.

This is the ninth time in 10 years that the company has been featured as the leading international design firm in Canada. Overall, AMEC ranked No. 7 in the list of Top 200 International Design Firms and No. 6 in the list of Top 150 Global Design Firms.

The survey is based on design-specific export revenue generated in 2011 from projects outside each firm’s respective home country. The overall list is accompanied by a list showing the top 10 firms by region. More than 70 per cent of AMEC’s revenues come from outside the UK, including 28 per cent from Canada, which is AMEC’s largest overseas market.

ENR performs annual surveys and rankings of companies engaged in engineering, architecture, planning and studies. The rankings are based on annual revenue at home and abroad, and are further divided into specific market categories.
