Oil & gas specialist joins AMEC as Vice President in Houston

Houston, Texas (28 August 2007) Oil and gas industry veteran Susan Waller has joined AMEC, the international project management and services company, as a Vice President.
Waller will hold senior oil and gas business development responsibilities with AMEC's Earth & Environmental business and be located in AMEC's Houston, Texas office. She provides AMEC with 30 years of experience in the energy industry, most recently as Vice President of Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure's oil and gas sector. She also has held management positions with RCP, Inc., and El Paso Energy.
"We are very fortunate to have Susan on board," said AMEC Senior Vice President William Brickey. "She brings a vast knowledge of the oil and gas market, a track record of success, and key relationships with many of the industry's major players in Houston and elsewhere."
Waller's role will include development and management of environmental and geotechnical accounts for oil and gas clients, recruitment of key staff, strategic business planning, representation of AMEC in industry organizations and conferences, and project work in a technical or management capacity.
