AMEC has worked in Kuwait ever since the rehabilitation of several of Kuwait's oilfields after the 1991 Gulf War. From our offices in Fahaheel, Shuaiba and Ahmadi, we are working on our project management contract for the southern parts of Kuwait Oil Company's oilfield facilities, and we also have several contracts for facilities in the Partitioned Neutral Zone between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Our services include engineering, procurement and construction, project management, training and commissioning. Our contract with the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) established AMEC’s position as a major project manager in the region. AMEC also has a five year contract to provide a range of engineering and PMC services to support KNPC’s three refineries at Mina Al-Ahmadi (MAA), Mina Abdulla (MAB) and Shuaiba (SHU).
