Estimating, detailed design engineering and project management services
AMEC delivers maximum value by working with clients in the initial stages of project development to help secure project approval and establish budgets. Once funded, we provide innovative solutions to technical and logistical challenges, and identify and mitigate risk early. Our highly skilled and experienced team uses proven tools and techniques to prepare quality detailed design packages. These packages are structured to fit the chosen construction approach. AMEC has an impressive record of delivering projects that meet business goals, within budget and on schedule. On a recent modernization, the AMEC team reduced outage duration from 85 to 46 days while completing 70 per cent of the total work outside of the main outage.
Procurement services
AMEC brings global procurement and supply chain management experience to large and small clients. We work with experienced supply chain partners and continuously monitor and assess their performance to ensure that every project is delivered efficiently. Our skilled procurement specialists ensure that the best equipment and commodities are secured and delivered.
EPC and EPCM services
AMEC offers a full-range of project delivery options from staff augmentation to EPC and EPCM. Our client’s benefit from the hands-on construction knowledge and experience that we bring to every project. The Bowater Catawba Fiberline project is a good example. AMEC and our EPC partners completed this project 3 per cent under budget. The plant started up on time and was at full production within 15 days.
