Acquired by AMEC in 2009, the Performance Improvements (PI) business is a global provider of production optimisation consultancy to the oil and gas industry, maximising uptime and efficiency, reducing emissions and reducing operating costs, while operating safely.

PI’s primary focus is to provide operating realism into the front end design of new oil and gas projects and help existing production and processing facilities achieve and sustain "Operational Excellence".
