	Strategy Our approach to sustainable employment has three main strands: Increasing the size and breadth of the pool from which we hire new people Developing the skills and careers of our people Engaging our people to help shape and to share our objectives Recognising the diversity of the markets and countries in which we work, specific measures need to be tailored to address the priorities of our individual local businesses. Key employment indicators are used both to enable us to monitor progress for AMEC as a whole and to highlight areas of particular good practice which can be applied more widely.
