- AMEC's Malampaya project in the Phillipines achieved 4 years worked without a lost time incident.
- AMEC's Coryton project received a BP Gold safety award for 3 years' activity without a recordable injury.
- RoSPA Gold Awards were received by the following AMEC Group Limited divisions; Oil & Gas, Industrial, Design & Management, Construction Services.
- AMEC's Construction Services Team in Scotland achieved 12 months worked without a reportable accident during which time 1.7 million hours were worked.
- AMEC's UK Piling team achieved 2 years worked without a reportable accident during which time over 500,000 hours were worked.
- AMEC's Wallsend site achieved over 2 million hours worked without an LTI.
- AMEC's Oil & Gas CWP project in the Caspian achieved over 4 million hours worked without an LTI.
- AMEC, together with training provider W2, received a Scottish Training Award in the UK National Training Awards for the work done on development and delivery of the "First Step" behavioural safety programme.
- AMEC's SECCO project in China achieved 3 million hours worked without an LTI.
- AMEC's BP Clair project achieved over 1.5 million hours worked without an LTI.
- AMEC's RMG A13 project achieved 1 million hours worked without a reportable accident.
- AMEC's FTN project for Network Rail achieved 1 million hours worked without a reportable accident.
- AMEC SPIE Capag won the International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) 2004 Environmental Award for its work on the BTC pipeline project in Georgia.
- AMEC's UK Internal Asset Management division achieved over 1.4 million hours worked since the last reportable accident in August 2003.
- AMEC's UK Internal Asset Management division's depot at Swynnerton, England, achieved over 2 million hours since the last reportable accident in May 1997.
- AMEC's UK labour supply company, Primat, achieved 1.9 million hours worked by its assignees since the last reportable accident.
- AMEC's Energy & Mining Division Southwest Quadrant Replacement (SWQR) project achieved 12 months without an LTI during which time almost 900,000 hours were worked.
- AMEC SPIE Capag's Georgia BTC Pipleine project achieved 5 million hours without an LTI.
- AMEC SPIE Netherlands has worked since 1991 without an LTI at DOW Chemical Benelux Terneuzen during which time over 2 million hours have been worked.
