AMEC's focus on quality is an essential part of sustaining long-term business success. ISO 9000 - 2000 has become the international reference for quality requirements and we measure the extent to which we have achieved compliance to this quality management system standard as a clear indicator of our commitment to improve quality and customer satisfaction. This year sees a further increase in our adoption of this standard and we now have 81% of our workforce working within ISO 9000 compliant management systems compared with 80% in 2003.
